What you bring:
- Registered with SkilledTradesBC. Exceptions may be made for out-of-province workers with the appropriate and equivalent qualifications
- Ozone Depleting Substances certification
- Valid Driver's License with a relatively clean driving record
- Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Must be available to work overtime and participate in the on-call rotation
- Able to occasionally travel to work at other locations as needed, or travel for training purposes

Enviro-Tech Mechanical
HVAC Refrigeration Technician
$29 to $36 per hour

A day in the life:
You will be responsible for providing service to various clients throughout Vancouver Island. As Apprentices your responsibilities will be to learn all aspects of a Journeyperson's role. Your immediate responsibilities include, but are not limited:
- Fill out reports accurately out reports, providing notes where necessary
- Tag equipment and record model and serial numbers
- Safe handling of refrigerant and filling out refrigerant logs
- Support Journeyperson on service and construction jobs
- Perform basic HVAC/R Maintenance
- Perform basic refrigeration pipping practices
- Perform basic hardware (ex: hinges and door closers, door gaskets)
- Reclaim gas
- Perform pressure testing, evacuating, and charging
