Qualifications

We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice.  To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and concepts
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the electrical trade
• Valid BC driver's licence with clean abstract

Description/Duties

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Using power tools and hand tools to perform electrical tasks
• Building and assembling electrical components
• Assisting with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
• Learning to work with low voltage systems
