Automotive Technician
Job Summary
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary School (preferred)
- Automotive Industry: 3 years and up (5 years and up strongly preferred)
- Class 5 Driver's License (Required)
- Red Seal Automotive Technician License (Strongly preferred)
- Customer Service Experience is an asset
- A positive outlook, a "can-do" attitude, and a customer-focused approach
- Should possess their own repair tools
- Ability to commute/relocate: Coquitlam, BC V3B 1A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Description/Duties
- Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles, and test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance services
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
- Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor
