Qualifications
Experience:
- Level ‘B’ certificate
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a welder
- Minimum 3 years of Pipe Welding/Fitting experience
- Flexibility with shifts (dependent on workflow and project requirements)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- A valid passport and the ability to travel across Canada, the USA, and internationally for field installation and customer support
- Valid Class-5 license
- Dynamic, motivated and eager to apply oneself. Continuously looking to find ways to improve the company
Schedule:
- Core: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30AM
- As we have a global client base, weekend travel to support installations or provide customer support services may be required.
- Travel from 25% to 50% of the year.
Description/Duties
Responsibilities:
- Analyze R&D Welds
- Assist in-house welding projects and developments
- Complete projects and FATs per development plan
- Develop new weld procedures
- Field Installation support of equipment
- Support customers with technical guidance and training on the SWR
- Manage and order shop consumables as required
- This role is customer-facing and requires a clean and professional appearance as well as proper personal conduct in the face of customer challenges
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team and Operations Welding Manager
