Qualifications

Skills requirements: 

• 2-3 years of welding experience;
• Good command of English.

Education: completion of secondary school is required.

Door Ace Your Garage Door & Gates Co. Ltd. is hiring Welders

Job location: Greater Vancouver area, BC

Permanent, full-time position

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Wage: $30.00/hour

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications;
• Determine weldability of materials;
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment proficiently;
• Operate various metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines;
• Fit, braze, and rectify metal using torches as necessary;
• Inspect welds and to ensure they meet predefined standards and specifications;
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment;
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment as required.
