Experience:
- Prefer 1 year exposure in industrial painting atmosphere
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
Description/Duties
Experienced Industrial Painter or Apprentice to prep & paint products manufactured by our structural steel fabricaion department. The ideal candidate could have experience in auto painting, welding assembling, & use of hand tools. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized & can work independently. Experience with airless paint spraying & overhead crane operation is a plus. We operate under lean manufacturing principles, so the ability to work efficiently & effectively is essential.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding & masking
- Apply paint using various techniques such as airless spraying, brushing, or rolling
- Use hand tools to remove old paint or rust from surfaces
- Operate overhead cranes to move large parts or equipment
- Handle materials safely & efficiently
- Follow Safety protocols at all times
