YF Custom Flooring LTD. is looking for Tilesetters

Victoria & surrounding area, Vancouver Island BC
Full-Time, Permanent

Salary - $27.50 hourly

Main duties:

• Measure surfaces that need to be tiled, determine quantities of materials required;
• Prepare, clean and mark surfaces;
• Cut and shape tiles using power and hand tools;
• Apply cement, glue or other adhesives and form tile beds;
• Set tiles, tap into place carefully to affix tiles to base;
• Align tiles and straighten them using professional tools;
• Fill joints with filler compound and remove excess compound;
• Install variety of tiles and tile strips to create decorative wall and floor designs;
• Replace cracked or damaged tiles;
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite or marble;
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces.
