Qualifications

About you:

• 2-3 years of carpentry experience,
• Good English,
• Education: Secondary school

Description/Duties

Doormate Services Inc. is looking for Carpenters to join our growing team.

What we offer:

• Various jobsites in Greater Vancouver area
• Permanent, full-time job
• Hourly wage of $30.00

Main duties:

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements;
• Take measurements to prepare layout and to determine dimensions and materials needed;
• Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand and power carpentry tools;
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props;
• Build or repair doors, frameworks and other wooden fixtures and structures in buildings;
• Fit and install doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim;
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean jobsite.
