• 3rd, or 4th Year Apprentice
• Repair Welding an asset

Description/Duties

Reporting to the shift foreman, the purpose of the welder is to support the manufacturing flow by providing safe, efficient and quality welding processes to ensure our customers' trailers are on schedule for delivery.

• Review engineered drawings and problem solve when drawings are not available
• Weld horizontal and vertical filets
• Weld vertical filets and vertical laps
• Torch and plasma cutting
• Weld sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
