Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Experience as a painter required
• Experience with work safe procedures
• Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Good communication skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, and able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Willing and able to work shift work, including weekends.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights
• Man-lift operating experience preferred

Working Conditions:

• Painters perform some of their duties outdoors and may work in all different kinds of weather conditions.
• Hours of operation are weather dependent. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule.
• A variety of work schedules may include rotation of shifts, day/evening shifts, graveyard shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Applying paint, varnishes, and stains and removing and mixing paint
• Maintaining painting on buildings and/or furniture and furnishings
• Following instructions and pre-established guidelines established by Supervisor
• All other duties assigned
