Welder
Job Summary
Qualifications
- Level ‘B’ certificate
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a welder
- Pipe Welding/Fitting experience
- Flexibility with shifts (dependent on workflow and project requirements)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- A valid passport and the ability to travel across Canada, the USA, and internationally for field installation and customer support
- Valid Class-5 license
- Dynamic, motivated and eager to apply oneself. Continuously looking to find ways to improve the company
Schedule:
Core: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM
As we have a global client base, weekend travel to support installations or provide customer support services may be required.
Description/Duties
Novarc Technologies is looking for a Welder to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.
As a Welder you will help us further our welding robot design and support our clients. You will be designing and building parts, fitting pipes when necessary, welding using the SWR for internal R&D purposes, helping with the assembly and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), installing SWRs at customer sites, and assisting our Customer Support team.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze R&D Welds
- Assist in-house welding projects and developments
- Complete projects and FATs per development plan
- Develop new weld procedures
- Field Installation support of equipment
- Support customers with technical guidance and training on the SWR
- Manage and order shop consumables as required
- This role is customer-facing and requires a clean and professional appearance as well as proper personal conduct in the face of customer challenges
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team and Operations Welding Manager
