Description/Duties
40 hours a week – Temporary Full Time (April 2023 to October 2023)
An exciting opportunity exists within the Maintenance Department for temporary painters. As the third largest school district in B.C. and located in the Tri-Cities of Metro Vancouver, the school district has a population of 32,000 students with approximately 4,300 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.
This position reports to the Manager of Maintenance and the Lead hand Painter and completes painting tasks with a minimum of supervision.
Duties include:
- Inside and outside painting tasks under minimum supervision.
- Operates and maintains painting equipment such as airless and conventional spray equipment, power washer, computer, brushes, rollers, etc.
The successful candidate works 40 hours per week (7:00am to 3:30pm) – $36.84 per hour + 16% in lieu of benefits. The successful applicant will complete two criminal record checks.
Effective July 01, 2023, the wage will be increased by 5.5%
