Description/Duties

ST Granite, Stone & Marble Ltd. is looking for a Tilesetter

Osoyoos and surrounding area, BC.

Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week)

Wage: $26.50 per hour

Main duties:

• Clean, mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled;
• Cut tiles and shape them properly using professional tools;
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar;
• Set tiles, tap into place carefully to affix tiles to base;
• Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares;
• Install variety of tiles and tile strips to create decorative wall and floor designs;
• Fill joints with filler compound and remove excess compound;
• Cut, polish and install marble and granite;
• Replace damaged tiles if needed.
