Dedication to industry standards and improvements, continuous learning and development and improvements
Specialized Knowledge/Education:
Interprovincial BC Red Seal Mechanical, an asset
Trade certification (pipe fitter, millwright, HVAC mechanic)
Training or education in the areas of leadership, management and supervision
Safety training and knowledge of applicable codes, standards and WorkSafeBC regulations
Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence
Gas Fitter qualification is desirable
Swimming Pool operator certification is desirable
Description/Duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy Systems and Controls, the Supervisor, Mechanical Services provides leadership to, and is responsible for the coordination of the following trade units within the Mechanical section: lead-hand (bld. systems mechanics), heavy duty mechanic, maintenance worker.
