Qualifications

• applicants must have reliable transportation to and from job sites in Central Okanagan
• high school graduation preferred but not required
• construction labourer experience an asset but willing to train
• must be able to lift heavy pails of stucco and cement basecoat; a physically demanding job 
• able to work on scaffolding and ladders and knowledge of applicable worksafe.bc protocols
• must have steel toed boots and hard hat; safety vests supplied
• working knowledge of English required
• ability to follow the directions of stucco tradesmen
• we encourage students and newcomers to apply - gain working experience in the new home/commercial construction process

Description/Duties

• assist plasterers with all stages of stucco application; building paper, wire lath, basecoat and finish
• load and unload building materials as required
• mix stucco basecoat to desired consistency
• general worksite maintenance and cleanup 

8 hrs/day, 5 days/wk

4% vacation pay paid each pay period; hourly wage DOE
